Hello! A warm welcome to all the new faces here!
A different twist to this month's read... it's quick! Time is of the essence because I'm away at a conference called UpLift Live - all about LinkedIn and marketing. If we're not connected on LinkedIn yet then please come say hi.
Some of you have said you make a cuppa when you read this. This one is super quick - the kettle won't even have time to boil!
Font of the month: Organic Hand
Released in October 2025 by Studio FunShop. They say: “Each letter was drawn by hand, capturing relaxed strokes, natural curves, and subtle wobbles that make every word feel personal and alive.” Why have I picked this? I'm having a little brand refresh for myself and I want to inject a little fun and personality into some of my graphics. I've asked a fellow graphic designer friend to help me. A shoemaker never has his own shoes as my mother says.
Now time for...

Join in. Eventbrite. Top tip – I've chatted with my biz pals recently about “being in rooms that are new”. By that I mean, don't only go to places, events, and spaces where your friends are. Yes, you’ll have fun, but are they gonna buy from you? Search on Eventbrite to find local networking events. I found a couple that are free, or for a small fee. If in-person events are not for you, see if there are webinars you can attend remotely. No stress. |

I've done a lot of in-person networking this month. Netwalking, a celebration of Women in Business, Adobe Creator Live (that was a lot of fun and I finally found good Matcha). One of them included a London Afternoon Tea Bus, thanks to my friend Em, a cake designer. I had no clue what was going on - but guess what? It was a tour of London seeing the sights and sharing a couple of hours learning about the other attendees who are small businesses! I got to be a tourist while talking to them about marketing and having a newsletter. I also worked with Em to set hers up.
Which leads me to ask you…. How come you’re here
Okay, maybe this email wasn’t THAT short after all! Have a bright weekend, Ange
P.S. If you need help with your marketing graphic designs or another pair of eyes on your business book a free call with me.
P.P.S. Now go make that cuppa!
